This is a quick photo review of the very latest NASCAR COT by SCX.
See our original review of the COT for all the details!

Although not everyone is a fan of Kyle "Rowdy" Busch, I think most enthusiasts can appreciate this new addition. It simply just adds to our current selection of models which is quite impressive already. No one has made such a huge effort in 1/32nd scale NASCAR like SCX has. With the PRO versions also available and parts for the standard versions already here along with the PRO PARTS coming soon, fans of this series should be very happy. Plus this new body is fully compatible with the new PRO chassis. This adds even more appeal for me.

We had a chance to sneak peek these last Summer. Not only do we have the #18 but we have #11 Denny Hamlin & #20 Joey Logano arriving in the Toyota series.

Tampo stampings and paint work on our M&M's car is about as good as you could ask for. It also has a very clean and durable clear-coat sealing it all in place.

Many times my photos do not do justice to the work our slot car makers bring us. This is one of those times. The fit and finish here is very well done. This paint scheme is a very popular one to say the least. And of course, young racers immediately like this car. At least all of the ones I showed it to! You might be surprised how many of them know who this is. I think this is important to have a car such as this that will not only catch the eyes of Mom or Dad, but the younger fans as well.

The wheels now have some new markings as well that just add to the detail level.

One of the other VERY important parts of this car is the motor. The RX-42B is now a standard for these models. SCX asked a lot of us online to vote for the motor they wanted. We did and they responded. That is customer service!

Just in case you did not know these bodies along with other Ford and Chevrolet offerings will fit on the PRO CHASSIS.

The chassis will become available soon, but until then if you want to mix it up in your current racing series, remove the original body and replace it. You will notice the front end is not the correct paint as I used my Carl Edwards chassis to illustrate this. You can always paint it white if you desire.

This car runs great out of the box, but a little tuning here and there just makes it better. I am very happy to see these models. Finally a line of NASCAR that I know will be around for quite some time and that a line of parts to go with them.

And with an average price of $45.00 the price is right too. I see these being a great stocking stuffer this Christmas Season for some lucky NASCAR enthusiasts.
