Chicago Slot Car Show

Part 2!

After the first trip earlier in the year there was no way we would miss another show. Amazement is a good way to describe the feeling you get when you walk up and down the aisles of products seeing everything from vintage, new, and even custom made slot cars and accessories.

Once again, the HO selection was massive. And don't forget Mike at MEV! This man is an artist and another Smokey Yunick car found its way home with me!

Did I want these vintage sets? Oh yeah...but they were gone before I could get them!

Mr. TSRF was on hand and one of the highlights of the show. His chassis and cars didn't last long either!

The fun was having our own tables though and bringing Artin to a show for the first time. We met many people who already knew about Artin and they enjoyed talking with us about new products and their home tracks. Above is the famous Rich McMahon in between autograph sessions.

And once again I have to thank Frank from Slot Car World for coming along and feeding us! Frank loves the hobby like we do, which sets him apart from the rest. Our own Chuck Shick surprised us too (He is on the right) and we were glad to meet him. Chuck is the kind of guy who loves this hobby and knows how to have fun doing it...thanks for making the trip Chuck!

These events are fun and worth the trip if you ask me. I hope to see all of you March 21st for the next show!
