The WING RING!

Thought I'd share some photos of my layout with
you. The quality of the photos might not be the best, but maybe someone may
benefit from something in here.
My family bought me the Carrera Avus set
Christmas 2001. I finished a 11x25 room in the basement for my racing
memorabilia and I thought a nice layout would enhance the room. I've got 3
4x8 tables put together right now for a 12x8 layout. The current layout is
based on the Indy F1 layout from Racing and Collecting Slot Cars with the
front and back lengthened a couple of extra straights. In time I may add
another table to get a 8x16 layout going. Eventually I'll get started here on
some scenery as well. As the photos can attest, my kids get a blast out of
racing too. The "night" shots are actually them racing a couple of the 1/24
Audis. My son is starting to keep up with me at times without de-slotting for
awhile, not bad for a 3-year-old!

with "The Wing Ring."
