Controllers

When it comes time to upgrade your hand controllers there are only 2 types I feel are worth listing here. PARMA and Professor Motor controllers give you not only a good selection of models, but in price range as well. Both of these controllers have good and bad points, and as always personal preference will dictate your eventual choice.

The PARMA Economy Controller.

In my opinion this controller is the best $20.00 upgrade anyone can make to their racing. In fact, this controller has been a long-time favorite here and it continues to be for good reason. Not only is it very inexpensive, it is very durable and should provide you with years of trouble free service. It is easily adapted to any track system today utilizing the existing plugs or by straight wiring. Available in different OHM ratings as well to suit your driving tastes makes this controller one of the best deals in our hobby.

The Professor Motor Electronic Controller

If you want the best the hobby has to offer, in my mind you don't need to look any further, these are it.  Incredibly smooth and precise control, combined with TOP-NOTCH customer service makes it the best choice. It also comes with different features to suit varied budgets based on your preferences. I can't stress enough how these controllers have made a difference in our racing here. From heavy magnet hopped up models, to box-stock and  non-magnet machines...these controllers do it all, and do it right.

As with most everything in this hobby, personal preference is the bottom line. Some of you have your own personal favorites, and I invite you to write in and let us know your thoughts on this subject so we can better inform the enthusiasts just joining us.
